Barbara Jo Fidler, Ph.D., C.Psych., Acc.FM. is a clinical developmental psychologist. She has worked with high conflict separating/divorcing families conducting assessments, professional consultations, expert testimony, mediation, arbitration, therapy and parenting coordination for over 30 years. Dr. Fidler provides training to judges, lawyers and mental health professionals and has presented at numerous conferences. She is co-author of four books: Child Custody Assessments (2008), Challenging Issues in Child Custody Disputes (2008), Best Practice Guide: Responding to Emotional Harm & Parent-Child Contact Problems in High Conflict Separation (2013), and Children Who Resist Post-Separation Parental Contact: A Differential Approach for Legal and Mental Health Professionals (2012). She has been actively involved in the development and training of parenting coordination services and was appointed to the AFCC Task Force charged with developing guidelines. Dr. Fidler is on the editorial board of the Family Court Review. She is co-founder of Family Solutions and Families Moving Forward and maintains an insdependent practice. Dr. Fidler is Past President of AFCC Ontario (2011-2012) and currently sits on the BOD of Overcoming Barriers, a nonprofit organization. She received the AFCC Ontario Distinguished Service President's Award in October 2015.

Shely Polak, MSW, RSW, Acc.FM. Shely Polak is a registered social worker and an accredited family mediator servicing Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (e.g. Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Woodbridge). Her private practice provides specialized services related to families impacted by separation and divorce including: custody and access assessments, family mediation, therapeutic reunification, parenting coordination, and therapeutic services. Ms. Polak holds a Master of Social Work Degree from the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto and is currently completing her PhD at the Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto specializing in children who resist parental contact post-separation in high conflict separated and divorced families. Ms. Polak is actively engaged in academic research and has published on topics related to separated/divorced families involved with the court system. Ms. Polak is a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers, Ontario Association of Social Workers, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the Ontario Association of Family Mediators. She is on the Board of Directors and the Executive for the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, Ontario Chapter.

Linda Popielarczyk, MSW, RSW, Acc.FM. Ms. Popielarczyk is a registered Social Worker, in private practice. For over 30 years she has provided a range of services to families experiencing separation and divorce. Currently, she offers therapeutic services to individuals, couples and families; parenting plan/therapeutic mediation; parenting coordination; reunification intervention; and, custody and access assessments. Ms. Popielarczyk teaches courses in family mediation; and, the effects of high conflict separation and divorce on children. She chairs the Conference Planning Committee of the High Conflict Forum in Toronto; and, she is an active member of the Provincial Planning Committee of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, Ontario Chapter (AFCC-O).
